Edit

The Edit function is available in List View. Editing options vary and are dependent on the complexity and amount of data for the component, and what data is displayed on the associated list screen.

  • If the screen shows all of the data for each record on the list, the Edit function will allow data to be edited directly from the list, similar to using a spreadsheet.

Available on: PRO Clearance Issues, Reversion Option Report, MLC Work Summary Data, Process MLC Royalties, Libraries/Pitch Services, and all CODES screens (Genres, Contract Types, Performing Rights Organizations, Lead Sources, Pitching Status, License Status Codes, License Types)

  • If the screen shows only some of the data for each record on the list, the Edit function will display a separate edit screen that will allow all data to be edited for the selected record.

Available on: Songwriters & Sound Recording Owners, Publishers, Income Participants, Licenses, Royalty Payments

  • A few of the more complex components allow for both types of editing options for records shown on the list. These screens are easily identified by the presence of both Edit and List record update options. Click on List to edit data directly from the list, or click on Edit to edit to display a separate screen that will allow all data to be edited for the selected record.

Available on: Song Catalog and Pitching Activity
