The View function is accessible in List View.  When clicking on View, a read only screen is displayed showing all of the data for the selected record. 

Example:

In this example, we want to look at a musical work from the Song Catalog but we do not want to update anything.

Click on View from the Song Catalog list screen.

The musical work data is displayed in read only format. Optionally, you may toggle into edit mode by clicking on Edit from the list in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
