PRO Clearance Issues is accessed from the drop-down list in the Catalog Management module. This smart-list identifies musical works from the Song Catalog that have unresolved clearance issues in the PRO database. Songs appear on this list if their Status is anything other than “Cleared” or “Not Applicable”. Works are displayed in ascending alphabetical order of the Song Name.
The report is used to evaluate musical works that would not collect performance royalties from their PRO due to outstanding issues with their musical works registration in the PRO database.
As errors are resolved, records can be updated directly from the list by using Edit to update each individual work.
To update an individual work :
- Click on Edit next to the musical work.
- Make changes to the appropriate fields that need updated.
- Click Save to save the updates.
